In my research I have noticed many Jewish families of my ancestral town, Przedborz, Poland that have several people from one family marrying several people from another. Often, this extends over several generations. If this practice was common in the past, its quite likely that the living descendants of the folks of Przedborz all share a small group of common ancestors. Indeed, many have hypthoszied this to be true for large groups of Ashekenazic Jew in general, if one goes back 1000 years or more.

It may be possible, and genealogically fruitful to determine whether many of us who descend from the Jews of Przedborz had common ancestors several hundred years ago.

We should be able to find some new cousins, confirm some we already knew of , and also find out about our roots and demographics in central Poland.
